Summer Online Learning Enrichment for Students
Objectives
To encourage continued use of the target language during summer months.
To promote continued exposure to the target language and culture(s).
To allow opportunities for the development of aural and oral skills.
To provide authentic and engaging text(s) to encourage the continued development of reading comprehension and retention of vocabulary.
To create real-life scenarios that encourage continued development and maintenance of writing skills.
To provide opportunities and contacts that challenge students to serve native speakers outside of the classroom.
To provide travel opportunities for students (at least every other summer).
